TENTAC-WB, a PC-based computer program, facilitates the management of sites with multiple weighing stations. Years of experience in weighing automation, a thorough knowledge of the particular needs of different industries, the latest 32-bit software technologies and the principle of distributed intelligent control architecture, have allowed us to create a cost efficient and very flexible centralised weighbridge automation system. Based on the worldwide known Microsoft® Windows NT® 4.0 operating system, TENTAC-WB is popular with operators because it looks like an average home PC system and works in a similar way. TENTAC-WB enables the link up of 16 different weighing installations to one centralised computer, whilst the process handling at each individual weighing station is kept under the control of a dedicated scale controller.
