Hopper scale ABS Ex
The ABS hopper scale is designed for the automatic in-line (or process) weighing of free-flowing, dry granular products, such as grains.
When used with the I410 ABS terminal, it functions as a discontinuous totalizer with non-constant weighings. Its simple and robust design facilitates installation and maintenance.
The ABS in-line weighbridge consists of two main parts:
A filling section that must be mounted under the upstream product feed hopper. Depending on the model, this section is equipped with one, two, three, or four filling nozzles.
A weighing hopper supported by four load cells mounted on a rectangular frame. This metal frame rests on the floor or structure of the installation. Depending on the model, the weighing hopper is equipped with one, two, three, or four discharge nozzles.
