PRECIA MOLEN places the Quality approach at the heart of its strategy, from the design to the maintenance of its products. All our teams are organized in this way to satisfy our customers. The health of our employees and the preservation of our environment also constitute key commitments of our Group, which acts in favor of sustainable development.

Quality policy

The PRECIA MOLEN Group is committed to a Quality approach that applies to its products as well as to its work organization.

The goal of PRECIA MOLEN is to meet the requests of its clients, to take into account the expectations of all interested parties, and ultimately to ensure the sustainability of its activity.

This approach, central to the company, is applied and implemented by all employees in all phases corresponding to the Group's activities:

  • Design of products and services
  • Manufacture of products and production of specific software
  • Sale of equipment and software
  • Repair of equipment

    Thus, each employee, in their role and the actions they are responsible for, is an actor in this approach.

ISO 9001 Standard and Quality Management

To structure this organization, PRECIA MOLEN applies the ISO 9001 standard as well as standards specific to its core business, such as Directives 2014/31/EU and 2014/32/EU for the manufacturing of weighing instruments and Directive 2014/34/EU for devices used in EX zones (Atmosphere).

Health, safety, environment

PRECIA MOLEN pays particular attention to the safety and health of its employees. Preventive and protective measures are taken with the aim of providing working conditions suitable for all employees.

Health and safety at work

Risk prevention and working conditions are aspects that are considered and integrated from the design phase of projects, whether it is a new product or a new workstation.

Innovations are also carried out to evolve the organization and workstations, taking into account the needs of employees and the company, and in accordance with regulations.

Environment and Sustainable Development

The protection of the environment is also a component of the commitments made by the company.

PRECIA MOLEN actively contributes to the reduction of energy and natural resource consumption, the reduction of waste production, and the maximization of waste recovery. PRECIA MOLEN aims for a waste recovery rate of over 90%.

PRECIA MOLEN is a signatory of several agreements aimed at collecting and valorizing certain wastes free of charge for its clients and staff, such as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), batteries, and printer cartridges.

In general, PRECIA MOLEN is committed to managing the waste from its production in accordance with applicable requirements.

The Management of PRECIA defines the objectives based on the presented reports and the Company's directions. The energy objectives of the establishment are defined and evaluated each year by the Chairman of the Executive Board and the Director of Operations France based on the Company's objectives and the conclusions of the energy reviews.

A planning of actions ensures that the company's objectives are successfully achieved by producing a precise definition:

  • These objectives and targets are consistent with the energy policy. The targets are consistent with the objectives.
  • When planning actions, legal and other requirements, significant energy uses, and opportunities for improving energy performance identified in the FORM-805 document are taken into account.
  • Financial, operational, and business conditions, technological choices, and the viewpoints of interested parties are also considered.
  • Legal requirements may include international, European, national, regional, and local requirements that apply within the scope of the EnMS.
  • Energy regulatory monitoring is carried out internally by the HSE department.  
  • The Director of Operations France and the HSE Manager keep the local regulations up to date and ensure, in consultation with the Chairman of the Management Board, relations with the relevant administrations and organizations.  
  • Among other requirements, a charter is drafted for our service providers and suppliers.  
  • An HSE action plan, allowing the achievement of objectives and targets, is established, implemented, and kept up to date. This action plan includes the allocation of responsibilities, resources, and timelines to achieve each target.
  • The improvement of energy performance is verified in FORM-805 and the HSE Action Plan.
  • The objectives, targets, and action plans selected for the year are recorded in the management review report. The monitoring of the program for achieving the objectives and targets is carried out during the quarterly energy meetings.
